ABOUT THE TALENT OF THE ARTIST ELENA KRASNOSHCHEKOVA
Stanislav AYDINYAN
Elena Krasnoshchekova belongs to that rare galaxy of artistic natures whose pictorial talent immediately strikes with saturation. In her multicolored canvases, which are quite complex in terms of color content, there is both mystery and the ability to generalize, and a sense of beauty, without which there is no real art.
The artist began her career in the city of Slutsk, in Belarus, where she studied with Vladimir Sadin, from whom she may have taken the sharpness of graphic solutions for some of her works. This is especially clearly seen in her clearly staged work "Dawn", where she shows how artistically subtle she is in possession of an almost monochrome, contrasting palette, highlighting it with the cheerful upliftment of penetrating morning light…
At the first glance at Elena's work, it seems that the artist carries from the depths of her soul an inexhaustible warm mystery of love for all earthly things… To Nature, to children, to flowers, rivers, to Moscow, to everyday objects that are aesthetically composed under her brush into elegant, whimsical in color and light still lifes. But then the feeling of love rises to the spiritual spheres - to the Creator of the Universe and his angels… And they became the subject of the artist's brush touch... The spiritual wave goes far beyond the artist's direct appeals to biblical themes. This wave also penetrates into canvases dedicated to cosmic themes. And then this track in her work can also acquire a purely symbolic sound, as can be seen in the work "Meeting of the Elements". However, the neosymbolism of fantasy works is emotionally "warmed", as in a dream, by the misty pastiche of colors – this is in such works as "Pegasus" or "Cat"…
And the man-made legend of the image acquires dreaminess…
There are also such wonderful "flying" works in the artist's creative collection as "Pearl of the Soul", where the tenderness of the face of the Earth is supported by two angels. The planet looks with wide-open eyes at the small ball of the Moon-Selena… This is one of the possible semantic interpretations of this capacious picture, in which stylistically neosymbolism is revealed. Most of the landscapes and still lifes, as well as genre canvases, are neo-impressionistic, in this we can agree with the art critics who wrote about the work of Elena Krasnoshchekova. In a similar mood to the "Pearl of the Soul", a "Lullaby" was created, where female sleeping faces are planetarily connected by a gentle embrace…
Elena Krasnoshchekova's exhibitions have been successfully held in Moscow only recently. For example, in the Moscow House of Journalists, under the title "Memories of Spring". The opening of the solo exhibition "Children and Angels", exceptionally sonorous, pure, sublime ... Further, in such an authoritative cultural institution as the House of Russian Abroad named after A. Solzhenitsyn (on Taganka), took place in the famous Moscow exhibition hall "On Kashirka". Elena's exhibition at the Andrey Nekrasov International Art Center, as part of the YIN–YANG International Exhibition (at the Winery), is very significant. Elena Krasnoshchekova also embraced the Moscow region with exhibition shows – Printers, Reutov, the exhibition was also in the Star City… And everywhere the artist received a warm welcome, the audience everywhere welcomed the warmth, emotional elevation, vitality of her feminine, life-affirming talent.
